Financing the Team

While it appears that the board will raise enough funds for the 2009  year from funds raised through our sign sales, concessions and gate.  It is to every team member’s advantage to help promote and help raise money for the team.  We don’t have a Twins Budget although you are probably worth it?  We need your help so please offer to lend a hand when we need it. It’s to every players direct benefit to help out and support the team.  Some teams in our League charge players to play.

Fans and Sponsors are very important to all of us. We’d like to give them a good exhibition and enjoyable experience.

NOTE:   -Help  Save a Stamp!!!

Returning Players should reply if they are playing  moving or retireing.

2009 BLUES TEAM

Only if you can get excited and like Baseball should you consider playing Blues baseball.  Be ready to make a commitment to spend the time to be successful.   A preliminary schedule is just about completed. It is listed on the Blues web site.
We have again  accepted an invitation from Green Isle and entered their tournament  this summer.

The last couple of years we had some players who took time off  without communicating.  Some players have even missed playoff games. Playing games with just nine ball players is not acceptable or helps the team reach its goal of having a winning team.  Our goal is winning the League, Regional and State and we need every team players total commitment. This team will expect all team ball players to make a total summer commitment.  Please don’t waste your and our time if your not committed..   Communicate

NEW Scoreboard and Fence
With the help of City funding we now have a New Scoreboard $40,000est  and fence $20,000 etc.
Thanks to all who volunteered many hours to help erect the fence plus..  This is a great improvement I am sure all will enjoy and be proud of.   We have even shortend the fence a little. so you can hit a HR.

STAT’S

Be sure to request a copy of the 2008 season statistics if you missed the year-end party last November.
