All games begin promptly at 6:30 pm. Coin flip for home team; home team is in charge of field preparation and the visitor is in charge of field work after the game. Rain make-ups to be rescheduled on Fridays, Sat or Sun choose the best day and contact Kevin Kinney for umpires.

Special Rules and Instructions:
Adhere to new pitch count rules. Big barrel bats (2-5/8 inches) are not allowed.
Home team prepares the field for play (i.e. drags the infield, chalks 1st and 3rd base lines, and chalks batters boxes).
Visiting repairs the field following play (i.e. fills holes in batters box, fills holes in infield, and rakes the pitchers mound).
No trash talk allowed by parents, players, or coaches. Players will not be allowed to question umpire or coaching decisions. Discipline may include a one game suspension. A player’s job is to play, a coach’s job is to teach and manage a team, and an umpire’s job is to see that games are played fairly and according to the rules. It is OK for a coach to calmly talk to the umpire and opposing coach about a ruling or regarding rule interpretation. The umpire’s decision on the field is final.
A player can lead off only after a pitched ball crosses the plate.
A base runner on 3rd can steal home on a wild pitch, passed ball, muffed throw back to the pitcher or if he/she or another base runner is played upon.
Weather Cancellations
Tune to KLFD radio for news on early cancellations. Late cancellations will be made at the field by 6:00 (½ hour before game time) upon agreement of the coaches present.
